Jim Morrison

Jim Morrison serves as a principal and studio manager of the commercial studio. He lends his expertise to multiple project types including healthcare, commercial, municipal, justice, retail and educational projects. As studio manager he assigns projects to his project managers, and approves schedules with our clients and ensures those schedules are maintained. Jim is initially involved with all facets of the projects he has responsibility for whether his role is that of studio manager, project principal or project manager. Over the course of his career, Jim has not only served as a studio manager but has been the principal in charge, project manager and/or project architect for a variety of important projects. As manager, he has been responsible for overall project management, time budgets and control, cost budgets and control, consultant coordination and primary client contact. As background experience, Jim has been responsible for the development of conceptual schematics, final design solutions, contract documents, bidding and contract administration for a variety of retail, banking, corporate, commercial, healthcare, institutional, governmental, and justice projects. Throughout his career he has had particular focus on large complex projects of all types throughout the world, but is equally comfortable in almost any project role on any size project.
